COVID-19 PPE

In early 2020, at the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic, personal protective equipment was in very short supply. Even hospitals were frantically searching for needed supplies. First responders and private citizens all sought scarce masks and other PPE. Stepping in where we could, makers across the world came together and printed tools for mask making and shared designs for face shields, among other items. I personally printed and delivered over 250 face shields to hospitals in the Chicagoland area and dozens of tools to support teams of makers sewing masks for free distribution wherever needed. This would not have been possible without the support of my leadership at Humana.
